Main objective of the project is the development of an integrated architecture for life environment aimed to improve the life quality of frail users living in their own environments. The proposed approach is based on the definition of an ideal range of parameters and combinations of them, with the strategy to keep the patient in the “safety zone” through a telemonitoring system which uses wearable solutions or devices integrated into the life, and a Decision Support System which will help the caregivers to early detect the risk for the patient to exit “safety zone” and to foresee low impact and low cost actions. To such aim an innovative IOT infrastructure and models to the optimized management of user needs are required. Solutions to be developed during the project are strongly innovative and coherent with needs of the Specialization Area of Technologies for Life Environment. The actual need is the development of low cost and not invasive technologies, designed to provide support to frail users with a high degree of acceptability, efficiency and reliability. Main KET addressed by the project are: microelectronics, sensors, new materials, IOT and other technologies required to develop advanced solutions for Life Environment.
